Last week my wife and I had the opportunity to be at the Northern Lights Art Party & Auction held on the campus of Mayville State University. One of my prints, “Urban Stalker”, was among the pieces of art put up for bid in the live auction.

It was a great night sharing moments with friends and other artists. This print that I donated, “Urban Stalker”, was the top illustrative print in North Dakota last year. It also won me a Kodak Gallery Award and the ASP Award for North Dakota. On the national level it went into the Prestigious PPA Loan Collection.

If you would like to help out the Humane Societys in Grand Forks and Fargo, we will be photographing at our Studio in Grand Forks Fri-Sat-Sun…October 24-25-26 and in Fargo at Petco on Fri-Sat-Sun…November 7-8-9.

Many have already made their appointments. You can call 1-800-344-7667 to schedule a time; or we welcome walk-ins. Our times are 10-5 on Fri and Sat and noon – 4 on Sundays at both locations. For a $25 donation; you get a mini-session on one of our sets and a FREE 5×7 compliments of us. We have a number of new products available this year as well as traditional size portraits and greeting cards.

It can be photos of just your pet(s); or the kids and the pet(s) or the whole family with the pet(s). And if you just want a portrait and to donate to the Humane Society….you don’t even need pets. Tough to catch up with ‘blogging’ at this time of the year. Still taking HS Seniors, many children and family sessions for Holiday giving, school portraits and lots of confirmations. That’s only the tip of the iceberg with commercial assignments and miscellaneous other jobs. But I wouldn’t trade it for the anything else!!

So here’s some inspiration for any HS seniors looking for an awesome ‘EXPERIENCE’ and ‘GREAT’ portraits. The past week has been even better with the changing colors. Soon we’ll have an option for ‘winter’ (said quietly) portraits. Check with some of the Seniors who’ve come to us and what they think. You won’t be disappointed; you’re only a Senior once……you deserve the BEST Senior Portraits!!
